B2B quality process

Quality begins with an agreed reference.

A ruby cannot be checked against an expectation that was never defined. We turn visual preferences and setting needs into reviewable order criteria.

01

Material disclosure

The quotation identifies the stone as lab-grown ruby. Buyers should confirm growth method, treatments and documentation for the specific material ordered.

02

Dimensional review

Length, width, depth and other relevant dimensions are checked against the agreed specification and intended setting.

03

Appearance matching

Color, outline and face-up appearance are reviewed against an approved sample, image set or physical reference.

04

Pair and set matching

Stones intended to be worn together are evaluated as a group, not only as individual pieces.

05

Order records

Confirmed specifications and approval references support clearer communication on repeat production.

06

Protective packing

Stones are separated and protected according to order type to reduce handling and transit damage.

Documentation

Ask for evidence that matches the claim.

Laboratory reports, factory records and commercial certificates serve different purposes. A report shown on a website should never be assumed to apply to every stone or every order.

For a project requiring third-party testing, state the laboratory, report type, sampling plan and who bears the cost before quotation.
